A Capital Idea
A 2024 Town of Penetanguishene capital grant of $2000 is going to help
to greatly improve accessibility in a main floor washroom at Sulky Drive,
a CLH Supported Living Home located in Penetanguishene. Changes
to the flooring, vanity and sink will increase the ability of residents to
navigate the washroom with more independence and ease.

The Benefits of Endowment
Each year, we have many reasons to celebrate the work of Huronia Community
Foundation and to applaud its impact on CLH and many other community
organizations. The CLHF Endowment Fund was established twenty years ago,
and every summer, we’re reminded of the powerful benefits endowments bring,
including an annual disbursement from interest earned on the invested funds.

Town of Midland + Commitment to Care
We are honoured to be recipients of a 2024 Town of Midland
Community Grant of $3000, and pleased to have the Town’s
partnership in Commitment to Care. This is part of an ongoing initiative
by CLHF to cover the costs of unfunded medical and personal health
needs for adults who live in CLH Supported Living Homes. This grant
will help ensure that individuals who live in CLH Supported Living
Homes have every opportunity to participate in their community,
pursue their own interests and goals, and maximize their well-being.
