MESSAGE FROM
THE DIRECTOR
As we look ahead to the late summer and busy fall months, we look forward with a measure of confidence and a
great deal of appreciation for the community of supporters who surround CLH Foundation all through the year.
You help us drive our mission forward. No matter what the opportunities – or the challenges – your generosity and
shared belief in ensuring that all members of our community have what they need to thrive fuels our work and helps
us meet our goals. Which is helpful in a time when it’s often hard to predict just exactly what is coming next!
Thank you for your continued partnership. You are making wonderful things possible: your donations, sponsorship
and support for Commitment to Care, Foundations for Success, TAY/Teen Camp and Community Participation
are creating a positive and lasting impact on the lives of individuals across North Simcoe and throughout Simcoe
County. And that is to be celebrated!
All best wishes,
Sue-Ellen Boyes

CLH Foundation
Kevin Merritt Memorial Ride
Over many years of friendship, CLH Foundation Ambassador Kevin York
could always count on his friend Kevin Merritt to be among the first to
support his many fundraising efforts to benefit CLH.
We are very honoured to have been chosen as the beneficiary of the
inaugural “Kevin Merritt: Ride to Remember” fundraiser organized by
Kevin Merritt’s daughter Shilo Kelly and her family in her dad’s memory. In
spite of the rainy weather on the day of the event, the Ride to Remember
raised $2325 and surpassed their goal!
Thank you to the Kelly Family, pictured here with Kevin York.
